1. Who we are

The Signature Kitchen and Bath ("SKB", "we", "us") is a company based in Jordan that supplies kitchens, bathrooms and related products. Website: https://skb.jo/. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you contact us through our WhatsApp Business number.

2. Information we collect

When you send us a WhatsApp message we receive:

• your phone number and WhatsApp profile name;
• the content of your message (text and any details you choose to share, such as project, product or order information);
• images and PDF documents that you choose to attach, such as photos, drawings or quotations;
• the date and time of the message.

We do not ask for payment card numbers, passwords or government ID numbers over WhatsApp, and we ask you not to send them.

3. How we use your information

• To understand your request and route it to the right SKB team (for example sales, operations, customer service, or finance).
• To reply to you and follow up on quotations, orders, deliveries, service and payments.
• To keep internal records of customer communication and to improve our service.

We use an automated assistant to help read and categorise incoming messages. It produces a short internal summary that is emailed to the responsible SKB employee and to SKB management. Images and PDF documents you send are attached to that internal email as they are. The automated assistant also reads the text of your message and may look at images you attach in order to write a short description of what they show (for example, a product or a drawing); that description is added to the internal summary. The automated assistant does not make decisions about you, does not send messages to customers by itself, and does not change any business records on its own.

4. Who can see your information

• SKB employees and management who need the message to handle your request.
• Service providers that help us run the service: Meta Platforms (WhatsApp Business Platform), which delivers the messages; Cloudflare, which securely transports web traffic to our systems; and Anthropic, whose AI service processes message text and attached images to classify and summarise them. These providers process data only to provide their service to us.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We may disclose information if required by law or by a competent authority.

5. How long we keep it

We keep WhatsApp messages, the images and documents attached to them, and the related internal summaries for up to 12 months, unless we need to keep them longer to handle an open order, contract, warranty or legal obligation. After that they are deleted or anonymised.

6. Security

Access to our systems is restricted to authorised staff, connections are encrypted in transit, and credentials are stored separately from message data. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

7. Your choices and rights

You may ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you on WhatsApp. To do so, follow the steps on our Data Deletion Instructions page or email us at the address below. You can also stop the conversation at any time by blocking our number in WhatsApp.

8. Children

Our service is intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows the latest version.
